Jocelyn Flanagan, CSEP
Jocelyn Flanagan is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder of e=mc2 event management inc. Founded in 2001, e=mc2 event management inc. has grown to be one of the leading event management companies in Canada.
Jocelyn oversees all event operations with a focus on creative conceptualization budget development, business development, and executive management. With a keen ability for innovative vision, coupled with a “can do” attitude, Jocelyn leads her team in achieving the highest standards of excellence for every client.
e=mc2 event management inc. has had the opportunity to produce many successful events and has been honoured by over 25 national and international awards including two time Event Producer of the Year by The Canadian Event Industry Awards.
Jocelyn is committed to the advancement of the event industry and strives to give back through being a guest speaker at a variety of seminars and conferences including The Council for Advancement and Support of Education, The Special Events Tradeshow and Conference, and The Canadian Special Event and Meeting Expo (CSEME). Jocelyn was an instructor at Mount Royal University in the area of Risk Management.
Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Toronto and has achieved the highest level of industry certification as a Certified Special Event Professional. She is a founder of International Special Events Society (ISES) Canada and past chair, and served as the Canadian representative on the International Relations Committee of ISES.
