Tracey Moran, CSEP

Tracy is a strategic event designer and producer, with over 20 years experience in management and production from strategic planning/concept to completion. Through her industry experience she has become well versed in working with committees, donors, and organizational leaders to identify goals and objectives and create a strategic experience to deliver success.

She currently is the Senior Event Planner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she will be responsible for implementing the 2014 opening events for the new James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, Critical Care Center and expanded Emergency Department at Ohio State.

Just prior returning to OSU, Tracy completed the 2012 grand opening of the new Nationwide Children’s Hospital with a series of six events in four days. She has served ISES(International Special Events Society) both locally and internationally and currently is the ISES Columbus VP of Communications. Tracy also has served as the event chair for the Cystic Fibrosis Wild Crush fundraising event since 2009.

Award achievements include: 2013 ISES Esprit Award for “Best ISES Team Effort”, 2013 ISES Ohio WOW! Award for “Best Event for a Non-Profit” and “Best ISES Team Effort” for Nationwide Children’s Grand Opening, 2006 ISES Esprit Award for “Best Event with a Legacy” and 2005 ISES Esprit Award for “Best Team”.

Additional experience includes: Director of Fundraising Events at OSU Medical Center/James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, Senior Director of Events at Trace Ltd. Event Design Specialists, Event Producer at Jobe & Associates, Event Director at Columbus College of Art & Design and Account Executive at Griffin Communications.
